Hi Folks!

Ok, to answer some of the questions (hope I haven't forgotten them all):

1) Premier rosters have been checked and are not a concern at this point. You can rest assured that if there's anything funny going on, it will be promptly dealt with. If you think something is wrong though, you must let me know since I am doing registration and am not famillier with all the players faces.

2) Kahre is not coming to NCT. Lindenwood DI is still a solid team without him. While he will be missed, he was not eligible to play according to the coach's rules.

3) The delay of game issue and more: Will all be dealt with at the staff meeting then the captains' meeting. It is important for your teams to send the rep to the 10pm meeting to hear of the rule clarifications as well as other weekend policies.

I am very excited about this event after a long season full of many road blocks and communications obstacles.

Please find me, introduce yourself, and make me smile. Both Huck and myself will need it after tonight.

Everyone from CRHL is pretty much getting ready for the event and doubt it if any of us see anymore posts or have the time to respond in the next week. I am sure this Message Board will be hopping this week, as well as the ECRHA Message Board and CRHL's. Keep up with us and see the stats at www.pointstreak.com

Wish you all the best!!!!

Hello teams of NCT V

Congratulations on your arrival to CRHL NCT V and your accomplishments within your own Member Organizations this season. ECRHA is very excited to be the home for the NCT for the first time and anticipates a successful competition like no other that exists in the world.

I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you to the ECRHA. Along with Jon Huck, myself and the ECRHA Commissioner Mike Burke and Referee in Chief, Chris Rabatin, will be present for the entire event and look forward to seeing you all again after an entire year. It has gone by so fast. While visiting with us for the tournament, please take the time to introduce yourself and speak with any of the ECRHA participants, including the friends and family of our clubs. ECRHA currently has 8 active Board Members and 25 other staff all of whom will be present at NCT to see the event and support CRHL even though most will not be working. If you can pick them out, please feel free to ask them for anything you need assistance with or just chat about your program. They too look forward to meeting people from outside of the ECRHA region.

At this time, I would like for you to get your concerns ready for the Mandatory Captian/Coach meeting on Wednesday evening. Please submit your concerns via email directly to Jon Huck at jhuck@crhl.net so we can be sure they are all addressed at the meeting and no time is wasted on repeat questions. The Referee In Chief will be going through rule clarifications at the meeting to insure consistency exists between all the regions and teams playing in the tournament as well as the officiating.

I have recently addressed the ECRHA to remind them of their "hosting expectations" and proper representation of the ECRHA. I now ask the same of you as our guests; "It will be extremely important to continue and further the supportive relationships we currently have with other regions. Now is not the time to make enemies with anyone. Win your games like hard working athletes. Lose with class. Go out with style, not a bang. Be courteous, present a class act and make everyone proud. This is the time to shine! All eyes are on us." In addition, I please ask that you are respectful of the Sportsplex facility, the hotels, and the community in general. This is an area that ECRHA has a great working relationship with and visits frequently.

I wish you all the best of luck in the competition and wish you much success in your club programs. If you would like to contact me, you can do so direct (president@ecrha.net) or just email Huck.

Thanks!
