To whoever is XHLfrontoffice or what the name is,
Please watch the way you act and carry yourself around here. Do not try to make posts the mock us and make us look like morons. First of all your league is actually going to be the great lakes league. It even says so in the first place. I looked it up at the law library and technically your promising of professional hockey when you charged for those tryouts made you bound by law to have that league since you did not, you committed fraud. You still here try to get on some of the readers for what you said, but atleast they didn't take anyone's money like you did. Imagine how you would feel, if after paying for a tryout you hear nothing. The problem beyond all the league falures is business sense. Yes, it is great to do it for the sport, but for a league to survive, it most having leadership that has the business sense to find ways to turn profit and keep the league going. You have proved through your posts and past actions, that you do not have what it takes to run a league. As the third generation in my family to play hockey, i believe that i have all the right to sit here and bag on you because you are defacing a great game. You are also making this site turn into a bickering session and Rich has worked way too hard for you to do that. if you have any problems with my comments feel free to email, just as long as you dont treaten lawsuits for people who bag on you, like you did last time around.

I wanted to get my two cents in on this little back and forth war that seems to be going on. I thought I'd do it in a thread which doesn't have legal threats and personal attacks in it already.

First of all, I would ask that the good inhabitants of IHC ignore Mr. Public Relations director as he's just trolling the messageboards to go out and create "heat" for this league. He's PR, that's what those people do.

Furthermore, I urge Rich and the admins-that-be to remove him from the boards for any number of reasons. You pick one. Posting commercial messages to a non-commercial board, being abbrasive and resorting to personal attacks. Whatever. The sooner he's gone and we don't have to listen to him, the better.

Finally, what Ben Picker said in a previous thread is exactly right. There's no "miracle cure" for professional roller hockey like ramps, third quarter hitting, etc. The game is the game. There's folks out there who know this well and have been putting on and organizing some very well-run leagues and tournaments for quite some time. Then, as you all know, there's those who are merely out to line their pockets at the expense of this sport. To be what Vince McMahon is for wresting for roller hockey, and there's no place for that here.

Pro roller hockey will come when it's damn well ready. No one has to go hammering a square peg into a round hole.
