Let me know if anyone agrees with me. I think wheel companies actually make their wheels cheaper in quality than what they could actually make. Meaning this: Years ago I could skate on Labeda Grippers for at least 6 months. Now I ruin wheels in 2 weeks or less. Obviously I skate more now, but two weeks is ridiculous.
It makes sense that they would make wheels less durable than possible, so they could make a profit. Imagine if they made a wheel that lasted a year or more. They would not make money.
I know this post might not make sense to some, I am just disgruntled and needed to vent.

Thats basically what I was going to say. If the rink rat's last as long as they claim, then the added price is well worth the money. It will be interesting to see what consumers say about them, though I heard from a referee that he had skated on them for about 40 games, and there was almost no noticable wear. if you figure you could ref no less than 80 games on them (rotate them once) then its not unreasonable to imagine they could go 25 games for a player.

I would love to try a pair of Rink Rat Wheels but the closest place to get them is over an hour away, and I am not making that trip just for wheels. I am in Coatesville PA. Any idea when they will become available online or at a rink closer then Feasterville?
