to all of those nice college roller hockey players out there, you know, the ones that dont talk trash, or would like to beat up my mother for me walking your entire team, i was wondering when most of the regions are actually starting the season....i know everyones excited to see the season start after a long hard summer of drinking beer and stairing at fat chicks, but if you people can let me know who or what schools have picked up phenom players, or lost those celebrity star players? for example, i heard over the summer that lindenwood, the school that offers money to players to come there, picked up sniper sensation, petie pennecke, and cali native bobby cotrell; or if they lost khare to flunking math 1825? furthermore i also heard the likes of Mr. buffalo (bellievue) was lost to graduation? so if any of you diehard college rollerhockey players out ther know anything on these topics, inquiring minds would like to know?
secondly, with that being stated, i had another question regaurding the three divisions(premier, comp., and developing). i was just wondering what teams are actually in the premier(elite??) and how that one actually works considering i was told that no competitive team could play against a premier team? so if any of you players/coaches/league directors out there know anything on this situation, or what teams are in which level, please make it known to the public....i know others besides myself have been wondering.....thanks for the time men, im off to go figure skating.....

David,

i heard something about pete being out there, but i doubt he would go half way across the country to play at a community college. i talked to bobby like a week ago and i think he said he was at Cal Poly SLO still. They are going to be sick this year. Watch out for OCC. Jason Nadona from the Hyper Skipjacks is their captain and Tour Preditor coach Dave Perumean is going to be behind the bench. If Dave is around, I am sure his son Zack will be there too. Zack is a stud. That guy has skill big time. Nadona is awesome too. He always has that smile on his face, but hey if I was that good, I would too. Chapman looks good (Any team with Justin French is gonna be hard to beat). Fabian Mueller (played for Gary Lents CCM Hoser/Team San Diego crew) is at UCI again and is supose to have help. I hear that MSU picked up a few Detroit Mission stars, but i am not in michigan so i wouldnt know for sure. Oh yea, Dont forget CSUSB. Mark Nazzal (all star water boy haha jk mark) and Jason Foster are other there in the desert ghetto and they have a decent group around them. If Jason Keith comes back to play between the pipes for them, they will be tough. I honestly think that a Western Region team will do it. Anyone who survives that region to make it to nationals will have played against alot of seasoned talent.

my picks:

Division 1
Cal Poly SLO- Bobby was one of the top scorers in the west last year as a freshman and has 2 tpc/narch players coming up to help out. already has great goaltending and some good depth

Division 2
not sure yet

Division 3
OCC. Lindenwood will have a hell of a time if OCC turns out to be mostly preditors and skipjacks like i have heard

yes, i mostly only hear west coast news so i am sure many people will be hatin on me but oh well.

Hey cali,

just out of curiosity, howd you know my name? secondly, im not sure if MSU picked up any detroit mission hyper stars, and thirdly thats cool that alot of the west coast teams are gettin better.....its always great to see colleges on the coast growing, but i was still trying to find out whos playing in the premier league? no big deal what so ever, but yeah the whole peurman family are very well respected by myself, and by many others. they too have done a lot with the sport of rollerhockey and i wish zach and his father the best of luck at the college level. but do you know what predators are playing on what teams, and i know this sounds stupid, but whats OCC? is that orange county community so im assuming, i know they were from that area? in addition, i know the likes of lindenwood will be going downhill eventually, how long team tour st. louis can actually stay around and play with out failing out, kinda beats me, but who knows, rumors are rumors, and well just have to wait and see when the season starts, and who is or isnt actually playing....let me know....thanks again for the help.

The MLRH Board is screwed up. LOL. I'm working on it. Could buy a brand-new message board system, but I don't have the money, and if I did, I'd rather send it to the Brian Hepp fund. Speak of which...

Bonesy,
How can you say Lindenwood will be going down soon. Didn't they just get most of the USARS junior team to sign up ?
Secondly, are you playing any ice?

im not saying lindenwood is going down specifically, it just seems that some schools that used to be phenominal, like colorado and truman state, have kinda been washed away due to loosing many players to transfers or graduation, and its kinda disappointing to see, however, theres other schools too that werent around back when the CRHL started either, that have come along way? ? i was just saying that i heard they were loosing some key players, but with the purposed pick-ups should still be a contender! cmon, anyone that can give out money should be able to get some quality players, and yes i used to play ice back in the day.....dubuque fighting saints, AAA team illinois, and high school one year. although i didnt play like i waws jagr, i was fortunant to be on the team....but thats about it....but i wish everyone the best of luck this year and to all a goodnight....

3 out of the 6 CRHL Member Organizations(previously referred to as regions) started league play this past weekend, October 5th and 6th. Refer to the College Hockey Board for more information.
