Hello,

I contemplated waiting until after all the Winternationals hype to post this, but I figured it might be good to catch people home browsing the 'Net for the holidays.

I'm posting on behalf of a few other individuals who are in the midst of organizing an elite league for professional caliber players on the East Coast next year. Just so people don't roll their eyes and shrug this off as another lame attempt to organize a league, among the organizers are CJ (Tour Mudcats Pro) and Charlie Yoder (Coach Team USA), Charlie Kirschner (Coach Team USA), and other highly credible names in the sport.

The goal of the league will be to run an organized, professionally-run competition from roughly April to September of the year, with teams based initially on the East Coast. As of right now, interested teams are located in the Mid-Atlantic region but this is not a limiting factor. It will be a NON-contact league playing international rules, with the goal of providing players cash compensation. Basically, it should provide the same quality, excitement, and caliber as NARCh Pro, but in a league format.

Currently, the league is soliciting interested parties who would like to host a team in an existing rink. Only serious inquiries please; a rink should be of near-NHL size with a sport court or comparable surface.

Interested parties (rink owners, team owners, sponsors) can contact me via e-mail at speeddemon2112@yahoo.com or by clicking on my initials below, and I will be happy to foreward you appropriate information! No individual players please.

Thanks and happy holidays!
SD (speeddemon2112@yahoo.com)

Hey Speeddemon,

If this is going to be a real pro league I want to know how I can play in it, how are teams going to be drafted or picked. Let us all know soon. Also, when is a formal anouncment going to be made of the league.

Hey,

I'm not sure, I'm just passing along the information for a friend. As I get more information I'll pass it along, right now they are looking for possible sites to host teams, not actual players.

All I know is it will feature some top talent, in NARCh pro and platinum players, as well as minor ice hockey pros. And I'm being told you will be compensated.

Hey SpeedDemond,

Now that Winternationals are over. Do you have any new info about this to put out. Anything at all would be great.

Thanks

Hello,

I don't have much more information. The league is being formed on the East Coast. Once they release some sort of formal announcement, I'll post it here immediately. All I know is that it's still a go and the people involved are still actively putting things together in anticipation of an April/May start
