The American Inline Hockey League is a new league designed for elite players age 16 and above as they advance beyond the traditional youth ages into the adult elite level. The league will debut this coming fall with teams representing several different regions across the United States. The AIHL will be a non-profit 501 3 © organization.
The league will consist of an Elite MAJOR Division and MINOR Division. The goal of the AIHL is to bring structure to the sport of inline hockey across the US and to align itself with the National Governing body of Inline Hockey, USA Roller Sports. This new league will be designed and operated by the team owners and will be sanction under the banner of the AAU/USARS. Many organizations have already committed to participating in the AIHL for 2008/09 season.

Team Owner Benefits
To contain and maintain reasonable league fees
The league will be run by an elected committee of Team Owners.
All Team Owners have voting rights on how the league is run.
Owners meetings to be teleconferenced and webcasted
Monthly League Finance reports supplied to Team Owners.
Players Benefits
Players will compete against the best inline hockey players across the United States.
To play for a true National Championship declared by the National Governing body of Inline Hockey, USA Roller Sports.
The League’s top players in the Elite Major Division will receive an invitation to the USARS Team USA Tryouts at the end of the season.

AIHL League Information Meeting
There will be a informational at meet at the Bucks County Visitors Bureau on Thursday 6/26 at 6:00 pm. This meeting is for many of the already committed teams and any new teams interested in participating in the new American Inline Hockey League.
Keith Knoll AAU National Chair and USARS Hockey Committee member will be presenting the meeting along with other AIHL Staff members. There will be a portion of the meeting open to questions and answers.

There are two ways to attend the meeting.
In person- Due to limited space we are requesting a RSVP that you intend to be present at the meeting. You will need to e-mail you team name, location and contact information to info@AIHLHockey.com .
teleconference and possible webcast Will be available for those who are unable to attend but wish to participate.
If you wish to participate by teleconference, email you team name, location and contact information to info@AIHLHockey.com .
You will receive a phone call form an AIHA Staff member to confirm your Meeting Status. On Thursday 6/26/2008, 1 hour before the start of the meeting you will receive an Invitation e-mail with your call in phone number and pass code. If a web cast is available any links and passwords will be also sent in the invitation e-mail.
