Betcha Bob Dylan has never even heard of inline hockey...

Anyway, I'm listening to his "Blood on the Tracks" album for about the 1,00th time. I never get tired of it. Check out the lyrics, the feeling some of the songs bring out in you, and recognize Dylan's greatness, despite his lack of inline hockey knowledge.

I remember when this album came out. Someone in my high school electronics class came in and said, "Man, you have to check out Dylan's new album, it's fantastic." Everyone put him down and thought he was a nut -- "Dylan? That old guy with the voice like gravel?"

I thought so, too, until I listened to the album. One of the all-time classics.

We always did feel the same,
We just saw it from a different point of view,
Tangled up in blue.

It took me about twenty years to begin to understand the imagery from Desolation Row and Like a Rollin' Stone.

...means somethin every time I hear Highway 61 Revisited.

Hey Jay,

Tangled Up in Blue. That's one of my favorite songs of all time.

Hi Dan,

Dylan has a lot of songs that have various levels of meaning. I get new insights upon hearing some of his old songs, too.
