If any college is looking for custom one-peices next year, former Brockport goalie Kyle Shrauger started a company recently that sells them. The company is called Identity Hockey and the website is www.identityhockey.com

How are they price wise? I know Bauer and Sherwood both have custom stick programs.

I should be getting the pricing up this week on the website. My goal is to be as competitive as possible with pricing based on the customizing that we do. The difference between ID Hockey Sticks and Bauer and Sherwood custom sticks is that we can change the stick to any design, completly customized. I will also try to get some pictures of some sticks we have done up on the website to show the difference.

Just a heads up, if bauer sees your program they might get pissed. They custom stick program is called "ID." No offense, but I think they would have more financial and legal backing on this one.

That being said, I think what you are doing is great. Best of luck.

Thanks for the heads up, I will be sure to address our business as Identity Hockey and not just "iD". We def. take the customization to the next level. We start with a blank stick and completely base the design on your logo / organization. Every team will have a completely unique identity on their stick.

I will be updating the website soon to show the type of stuff we do. There are no template designs, anything goes! Our pricing should be posted within the week as well.

Thanks again for the heads up!

If you were going to compare the stick itself to one made by a major manufacturer, which would it be? Looks a lot like a one90.

pity he can't add something like a Vapor XXX Lite (in a RH, P92 curve) into the lineup, now that they're discontinued by Bauer, a good replica would be very welcome.

Is this in anyway linked with the guys from inline hockey over in Hong Kong, they had something similar in the pipeline (had a demo stick that wasn't bad) they were talking about during Hong Kong Cup, and I think Shrauger was in the team that went over (no idea if he did, I think his name was on the roster, but I have NFI what he looks like)

If you have questions for him your best bet is info@Identityhockey.com Kyle is really busy and probably wont see this for two weeks if at all.

I have seen some of the sticks and they graphics look pretty sharp. Didn't get a chance to "test" one out though...

That is the link that shows the sticks he did for First Line Hockey, a roller hockey camp based out of North Carolina (www.firstlinehockey.com)

Let me make your statement a little more honest.

A little less impressive considering he paid for his own business.

Actually Mike Tefft owns/runs First Line Hockey, Kyle and I used to work the camps in the summers when we were in college and still do a few when we are available. However that is a very astute observation that there is a connection between the two, which also made First Line Hockey a great company to make some demo sticks for.

Thanks for the correction. I was under the impression that Kyle headed up, from the beginning, all goalie training.

I agree that it's a great way to demo the sticks. I just wanted to make the deal transparent.
