To the best of my knowledge, no.

Hi,

There was at least one photographer, but he, for reasons of his own, wishes to remain anonymous.

I've put a bunch of his shots on IHC already.

But as for a whether there was an "official photographer" there or not, I couldn't tell you. My camera was stolen on the first day.

I never saw one or heard of one being present.

There was a local photographer secured for the event that evidentially couldn't make it last minute. I am not personally aware of who it is. There were numerous photographers who DID make the event and we have been furnished with some great photo's covering the event for posting and promotional use.

I understand with the late change from Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs it made everything tough for the NCRHA. That being said, I think it was real sad to see that there were no photographers as in the past that were selling pictures of games afterwards, as well as the only games that are available on DVD are the final four games, For those teams thats great, but there are 20 teams in DI and DII, 16 didn't make the final four, Lifetime Media may have sucked but its better than nothing right? I think the NCRHA really screwed up by not having either a photographer or a video service available to its members.

This may not be a total fix for the lack of a professional video team, but I am working on getting an archive together of any of the games that may have been recorded by any parents/fans. I know we have 3 games (OSU vs. Mizzou - Columbia, OSU vs. UCI, OSU vs. Lindenwood) and I think James from UMSL has some too. If anyone else has footage let me know, the more the better. Not many people will probably be interested in juts a few teams, but if we can get enough games together it could be worth it.

If there is enough interest I am going to try to compress and compile them onto a DVD so that I can send them out to whoever is interested. At the very least there will probably be youtube videos up, along with higher quality digital files available (probably through bittorrent since bandwidth for such big files gets expensive quick).

A dad from our team recorded all of our games so I'm going to have UCI vs Rhode Island, UCI vs. Mizzou, UCI vs Ohio State(we can have multiple angles?) UCI vs Stony Brook, UCI vs Buffalo and UCI vs Lindenwood. I would be more than happy to share them with you, don't know how long it will be till I get the files from the guy though. That being said, what format would you like them in and how can I get them to you?

Format shouldn't really matter. If he wants to go ahead and edit and compress them that is fine. Otherwise I can do it. I not quite sure yet how to transfer the files, it depends on how big the files are. I have plenty of space on the web server for our website though, so I'm thinking that will work out OK. Whenever you get the videos just shoot me an email at hollingshead.19@osu.edu or message me on here or something and we can figure it out.

Hey Folks,

This is kind of embarrassing... but it's good news. Rob Coggin found my missing digital camera... It had apparently fallen out of my pocket and between the seats of his car when we drove from the Tour Inline Hockey Arena to the Colorado Sports Center. My apologies to the thief that didn't exist!!!

Richard its good to see that you got your $99 camera back.
It was really difficult to hear you wine the hole tournament about it, even after I offered to sell you my wifes camera for twice as much. It figures that it fell out of your pocket in Robs car. Why would someone steal your camera when they could of easily had your laptop? Mine was to heavy to carry.

keep up the good work

Hey hockeyrules,

The only thing you got right is your user name and the fact that it was a great tournament. ;)

Your laptop wouldn't even fit on the plane I flew on. I won't go into details about what personal issues require such a huge laptop...

See you at another event soon. Please bring some cheese for my "wine."

That laptop was quite inviting sitting there all by its lonesome...

Glad to hear someone didn't steal it...

Although...maybe Rob "borrowed" it...

Bill,

Why didn't you come down and say hello? Or at least buy me a beer? Or are you still under 25? ;)

Still under-25...

I didn't get to spend as much time as i would have liked at the rink during the tournament. We only had 3 rental cars for 12 people and one of them was in my name so if we were going anywhere it pretty much meant that at least 4 people had to go. It was hard to sneak off for any substantial amount of time until my team was dropped off at the airport on Sunday afternoon. The few times i did try to sneak off it seemed like it was more hassle than it was worth.

Additionally, i never saw anyone sitting there with the laptop when i happened to pass it. I only assumed it was you because we were reading your posts back at the hotel to keep us up to date with what was happening at the rink or just to get a different perspective on what we watched.

Hi Bill,

Well, sorry I missed you. When I wasn't at the table, I was probably getting quotes from players or NCRHA administrators... or discussing the intricacies of the tournament with the bartender upstairs. ;)

Hi teamcarramrod,

That's a very good question. They're in a thread somewhere, and I didn't find them on my first search. Another good reason for bringing IHC's Photo Gallery back, I think. ;)

Are these pictures going to be made available to the public?
