Hey I was wondering if theres going to be a live streaming internet broadcast of any/all of the games during nationals this year, or if anyone's heard anything? And by broadcast, I mean the audio play-by-play (not video, that would be just too good to be true).
I think I remember telling friends and family to listen in last year, but I haven't heard anything about it for this year. J/w.
Thanks.

Yes, Bill Courtland will be back and doing play-by-play for selected games.
I don't know the list yet - it usually isn't determined until right before the event.

ibsu.net does not show anything. Any updates on this?

The games have not been chosen at this time. I remember in some year's past determining the games on the actual day of the event.
We hope to have this information tonight, it will be posted here, on www.ncrha.org and emailed to each team representative for attending schools.

Some of the games are a last-minute decision based on the vocal health of the broadcaster - doing 5-6 hours worth of announcing in a day does take a major toll on your voice.

FTR, I'll volunteer to help him out if he needs it.

Consider yourself signed up James. Talk to Rob at the event or talk to Bill Courtland in between games. I know he has had players/coaches/staff do color commentary in the past. Or maybe you can run to get him a water. Just kidding.

As long as Dave Thomas isn't playing and Courtland makes the "he had to take off from Wendy's to play here today" joke.
Thomas works at Panera, damnit!

That joke I bet never gets old....
We will have the IBSU.net schedule posted here, as well as on www.ncrha.org, in the next couple of hours. Just confirming one little item before we post.

Does anyone know if the broadcasted games have been saved anywhere? I'd like to go back and listen to a few of them if thats possible...

Hi Hockeyplayer1,
My understanding is that they will be archived at http://www.IBSU.net. I'm going to see if IHC can link to Bill Courtland's call of yesterday's "Miracle on Plastic" (copyright and trademark, Richard Graham ;)) game between UC Irvine and Stony Brook.
