Winners/Runner Ups of each pool.
Pool A- LU and Rutgers
Pool B- MSU and Long Beach
Pool C-UMSL and Eastern M.
Pool D- Buffalo and FIU
Pool C- Irvine and Ohio State
Pool B and D in my opinion are perfectly balanced, not saying their the best teams just nicly balanced, C and E look to be the toughest to me.
{Would be interesting if Burke or someone with the know how could make a online bracket system just like NCAA, the one on facebook is amazing for the tournament. I know nothing about computers so not sure how hard it would be but we do have quite a while before nationals}

Not sure how one would make a bracket for a round robin.

Well, we do have an online bracket system, we've used it for 4 years now (both nationals and most regions use it for their regional tournaments, ECRHA included):
http://www.ncrha.org/schedule.php?&event_id=659&playoff_id=122&area=brackets
http://www.ecrha.net/schedule.php?&event_id=700&playoff_id=138&area=brackets
Obviously didn't make it clear, my fault.
I was asking about a online bracket system where you the user could pick the teams that adavance and how you think they will finish, please tell me you guys know what I'm referring too now, NCAA basketaball????

The pools for the most part seem to be pretty even. Except for pools A and C in D1. LU seems to have a walk for the most part while UMSL, Stonybrook, and Eastern will have to battle it out for a decent playoff spot...should make for some pretty intense round robin games in D1. D2 looks to be a lock for MSU, Truman State, and Neumann but I don't know all that much about D2 beyond the GP.

ECRHA:
Regular Season -
#1 - Stony Brook: 35 Pts - Metro Conference #1
#2 - Buffalo: 34 Pts - Western Conference #1
#3 - Towson: 30 Pts - Mid-Atlantic Conference #1
#4 - Rhode Island: 28 Pts - New England Conference #1
#5 - Rutgers: 32 Pts - Metro Conference #2
At least that's the way seedings worked out for the ECRHA Regionals http://www.ncrha.org/schedule.php?&event_id=700&playoff_id=138&area=pools . I don't know if that translates to rankings or not.
In the Regional semi-finals, Rutgers was a 4 seed, while Rhode Island was a 3 seed. There was no consolation game, so if you use the NARCh tie-breaker to determine the Bronze Medal, which is highest seeded team to lose in the semi-finals, you could put Rhode Island as 3rd.
Also, I know Stony Brook had a "rough" regional tournament. However, there were 8 teams from the ECRHA invited to regionals, I don't see how Stony Brook could have placed 9th. A word to the wise, Stony Brook is a very good team - don't be looking past them because they had a "rough" weekend at regionals.

I didn't do confrence standings, I just took the regular season points into consideration.
Sorry if this isn't correct but I felt its the best way to understand the standings by just simply going by points.
I didn't know the confrence winners automatically were ranked above everyone.
Again I'm not from the East so I'm not sure how everything works, I went by regular season points as shown on the web site, feel free to make your own chart.
I did change a few things but not everything you guys mentioned.

They aren't, playoffs were seeded on points.
1.Stony Brook 35
2.Buffalo 34
3.Rutgers 32
4.Towson 30
5.Rhode Island 28
Based off of Regular Season Pts.
ECRHA Regional Seeds
1 Stony Brook
2 Buffalo
3 Towson
4 Rhode Island
5 Rutgers
So if I'm wrong why was Rutgers pushed back to a #5 seed? When they clearly have more points than both Towson and RI?
It appears (like I said) that the winners of the conferences automatically get a top seed.

I think Rutgers got pushed back to a 5 seed because they did not win their division.

either way all five teams have the willpower to win the title and like i said i consider these five team without a doubt "Commissioner Kevin Murphy's East Beasts". All 5 teams have intense rosters, as well as goaltenders i wouldn't be surprised if all them make the sweet sixteen
They aren't, playoffs were seeded on points.
Please enlighten us with your all knowing knowledge?
Because obviously they weren't as I stated earlier, so either you're wrong or the ECRHA seeded the regionals incorrectly.
I'm betting on the first choice.

Divsion winners got the top 4 seeds in the east, so it went Stony Brook, Buffalo, Towson, Rhode Island. Rutgers, Penn State, Army and Pitt filled in the 5-8 slots. After round robin play, teams were reseeded based on their points gathered at regionals. The tie-breakers were points, wins, then seed coming in. After that, the playoffs were played and then the seeding for nationals bids worked as follows:
1-Regional Champion-Buffalo
2-Regular Season Champion-Stony Brook
3-8-Based off of points (2 for a win in the regular season, 3 for a win at regionals)...Towson, Rutgers, Rhode Island, Penn State, Army, Pitt.

I was assuming it was the same as it was for DII, DII the winners of each conference did not get moved into the top for spot when it came to regionals.

I hope that's not how it turns out. I don't want to have to embarrass Lindenwood by eliminating them in the first round. :D

Hey James, I dont know if anyone answered you yet. But all you have to do is ask PPS to set up the rounds (round robin and brackets, if necessary) and then once that's done, you can enter the games and create the brackets. Just tips for next year!

Delays keep happening because I'm putting out fires.
Should be done and running come Nationals.
