It would be nice to see some info on Nationals. All the links on the Web Site are dead (go nowhere). These three links are dead:

Team/Bid List
Registration and General Information
Travel and Hotel Info

As a parent, I would like to make travel arrangements for my family. Some info would be appreciated. Anyone know what the delay is?

The Stiff,

The links that Steve posted are currently up. On there you will see the block schedule, team bid list, hotels, etc.

If you have any questions, please e-mail me directly and I can get you all squared away. My email address is ED@ncrha.org

Thanks!
Brennan

From the NCRHA home page - if you didn't use the black background/white font Nationals '08 link from the left hand menu bar, and instead clicked the highlighted Upcoming Events 2008 Collegiate Roller Hockey National Championships, none of the links for: Team/Bid List, Registration and General Information, and Travel and Hotel Info worked.

NOW THEY DO!

Apologies for the screw-up on those links.

My fault! I'll double check to ensure all links to those areas are working now.

[edit]
Looks like they're all working now.

Should you notice any more broken links related to this, please email me directly at mburke@powerplaystats.com and I'll take care of it immediately. I don't check on here nearly as often as I do my email (which goes straight to my phone).

Do you know how the scheduling works out with the D1&2 two teams? Last year in st. louis it went from april 4-7 with some teams having 2 games on the 4th, 1 game on the 5th, playoffs on the 6th, and depending how you did championships on 7th. this year its from the april 9-13 and on the site it states we start on wedsenday and end on sunday it seems like there is one idle day, which looks like the 11th?

I don't know about the others, but so far no alternates are going from the B division.

last year when we were the alternate and got into nationals, there wasn't really anything about it, just showed up on the schedule, which I know isn't out yet...

You are correct, Temple is the only alternate team at this point. All teams accepted their bids except for UC Riverside.

DI and DII start on Wednesday evening and go through Sunday afternoon. There are no days off in the middle. The plan is for teams to play 1-2 games each day, with a possible exception of a 3rd game on Friday, depending on seeding.

B and DIII start on Friday evening and go through Monday afternoon. Their schedule is a little tighter, but no days off, with 1-3 games per day.

We are currently working on the tentative Round Robin pools. This does depend on teams getting in all of their registration forms and payment. Once the pools are completed and payments received we will be able to post the schedule.

F.Y.I.

I just checked the Colorado Springs Marriott, using the link from the NCRHA Nationals web page, and it looks like all dates from 4/9-4/13 are sold out.

As for Air Fares - I've seen the prices coming down. (NWA for one.)
