Anybody here interested in playing some professional inline soccer in 2008? It's a new concept.
Fast, high scoring and contact. If you can play soccer, skate and not afraid of getting hit this game is for you.
I know that this is an hockey board but soem of you might be interested in this.

Only if each franchise gets their own team bus...?

This reminds me of something our ol' travel team used to do at practice... we'd have our practices at a basketball court that had a dusty sport court surface, it was small and square and had some soccer goals laying around. So we'd replace the hockey goals with those and scrimmage, called it "big goal hockey", odd enough the goalies loved it. We also had something called "thug hockey" where we wouldn't call any penelties... an other player favorite.

This is a joke right? I choked twice now in one night laughing. Is there a full moon tonight?

No joke, this is a real deal. I've seen the inline hockey, inline lacrosse and and inline basketball. Now is the time for inline soccer.
We are planning an exhibiton game in Knoxville, Tn. next month. This game is wild and I belive it will become a fan sport.

Who are you going to have officiate these games. Getting soccer referees on skates I can't wait to see that one. I just told all my soccer officials at my rink and they are laughing their heads off. I haven't laced up skates in 6 years and it sure ain't gonna be to referee an inline soccer game. I think I will stick to soccer with my feet you know the concept that the game was built on.

I've played kick the puck on ice at public skating. If your new adventure is anything like that, make sure everyone wears ass pads, because that's where most of us fell when we missed.
