Here are the 2008 PIHA rule changes.

PIHA RULE CHANGES – 2008

Changed references to "Major" (when referring to teams as Minor or Major) to "Pro."
Added clarification that all PIHA games are played with stop-time at all times. 7(a)3.
Eliminated 1-on-1 from regular season Overtime. Rule 7(b)
Added full periods (as opposed to regular season 3-on-3 and 2-on-2 format) for Overtime in playoff games. Rule 7(f)
Added references to "Executive Director of Rules and Discipline" and "Divisional Head Referees."
Added "Game Ejection" and "Disqualification" penalties. Rule 29(b) and 29(c)
Added automatic one game suspension to player or Team Official assessed a Disqualification penalty for Abuse of Officials. Rule 29(d)
Specifies the Referees shall report all Match and Disqualification penalties to the Divisional Head Referee within 24 hours. Rule 29(e) and Rule 30(c)
Added rule pertaining to alcohol or drug use during PIHA Games. Rule 37
Added language to "Fighting" rule to direct Referees when gauging a player’s level of participation during an altercation. Rule 48
Added a mandatory, minimum, 3-game suspension for Fighting. Rule 48(b)
Added a Minor penalty for "dropping the gloves." Rule 48(f)
Clarified "Supplemental Discipline" rules and included a specific appeal process. Rule 71
