Thanks to the Pittsburgh Bandits for coming down to Winchester for their pre-season game vs. the Winchester Generals last night.
Those were some good tune-up games and we had fun playing you fellas. Looking forward to the regular season games against you guys.
Hope you had a safe trip back.

Just to clear up any confusion,
The Pro scores were:
Bandits 4, Generals 1
and
Bandits 8, Generals 2

I know it doesn't have to be said, but... Andrew screwed everything up...

you're right, it doesnt have to be said; because it's not true. yes, we lost the first game (for the most part) from giving them power plays. but it's not one person's fault that we need to work on our penalty kill. it's a collective effort that will take time and practice. we had alot of penalties against a great team and that's what happens

Did anyone else think that the 1st pro game was 3 to 1? Just a thought...
Anyways... here's the minor's games:
1st game
Pittsburgh 3
Winchester 0
2nd game
Pittsburgh 8
Winchester 1
I thought we hung with them fairly well... they played very well as a team and deserved the win, hopefully we'll be able to do the same as the season starts.

I know he didn't screw everything up, he just had a real tough time is all. And Pittsburghs powerplay was 100 percent, if I recall, which is ridiculous. I don't know how Andrew fits in with the players, and I don't know what happened, but holy crap, four penalties...
What was with the reffing? I mean, I heard complaints, but I didn't see anything too bad...

we're a young team, literally and figuratively. once we get to know eachother and play our lines more everyone will fit in more. that's pretty much it. and like i said, pitt is a great freakin team, so us giving them powerplays was our own fault but we had a pretty poor penalty kill going as well. one of the things we gotta practice haha. and the score on the sheet was 3-1 on the first game. we could've (potentially) tied them had we stayed disciplined. oh well that's why it's preseason and we're here to learn and excell. not relish the thought of the bad things that happened
