Inline Hockey videogame

Just an idea, seeing how a lot of the people I play with have an xbox 360, and play NHL 07. How well do you think an inline hockey game would do?

They made an RHI game for SNES years back and it never was even released.

I remember when that video game was released. I never got a copy, and I'm interested in seeing it again for the book I'm writing on RHI. Is there any way to copy it and send it to me? (I suppose I could buy one online, but I know I'd never play the damn thing. LOL.)

As old of a game it is it's probably pretty cheap, NBA 2002 was less than a doller at EB Games.

Not that it was an official game, but I remember a while back that someone did a mod for NHL 2000. The mod changed the ice to sport court tiles and changed the teams to RHI roster teams with all the correct jerseys and whatnot (i believe.)

I did a mod for the PC version of NHL 05 that was similar to what you're talking about...I did end up getting in the sportcourt and other stuff but never saved any of that

i have the rom of the RHI game as well. i was praying to all gods that jimmy v was in the game but alas he's not, although there are lots of familiar names... the game itself sucks but going through the rosters is pretty cool.

You'll have to teach me, we should work on NHL O8 and PIHA 08.

It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to have it as an add-on to a current ice game. Just like Burke did... Change the rosters/jerseys/playing surface and "turn off" a few rules.

I forget which game it was, but there was one where you could make a custom team, and you could choose if their rink was white or blue. The blue one looked kinda like sport court, and I made a team of the travel team I was on... so that kinda looked like roller hockey. Except for the markings in the ice. But I just pretended that the entire team had a pre-game ritual of skating though chalk...

If you guys are serious about modifying the EA Sports NHL games talk to Drew Evans over at www.flyershive.com . He does such amazing work modifying their games EA Flys him out to get pre release copies. Maybe he can set up with a roller version. Tell Drew Jim T sent you.
