Figured i'd throw it up again...worked last year!!
The Elmira Jr. 'A' Jackals had their official Press Release two weeks ago. You can go to the website to see the pics, news article and news footage.
The Elmira Junior 'A' Jackals are embarking on their first season of hockey at the Junior Level (for players born in 1987 or younger). The team is aiming toward providing the true Junior 'A' atmosphere to its players...including practicing and playing all home games at the 5000 seat First Arena in downtown Elmira, New York. Part of the team amenities include full equipment, skates, sticks, gloves, helmets and more. A full gym membership is included along with team apparel. The team travels by Sleeper/Tour Bus and meals through its Booster Club are provided on the road for a $5-$10 cost per trip.
The team is holding its Tryout camp on June 30th and July 1st (Saturday, Sunday) including interviews and physical training tests. Players are required to provide their own equipment, sneakers and work out clothes. Camp cost is $130 - Applications can be made at any time or if you have a resume, send it to the Jackals Head Coach at juniorajackals@mail.com
