Final four schedules, according to NCRHA site....
Division I
semis: ? (I sure hope this isn't going to be 7 am.)
final: 11:15 am (this is too early for a championship game...)
Division II
semis: ? (6 am??)
final: 10:00 am (see above...)
Division III
semis: 9:00 am
final: 12:30 pm
B Division
semis: 8:00 am
final: 12:30 pm
Why not just move the DI and DII finals to Omni if this is the way it has to be scheduled?
DI: semis at 11:15 at MSG, championship at 2:30 at Omni
DII: semis at 10:00 at MSG, championship at 1:15 at Omni
Or whatever...
10 and 11:15 are way too early to play championship games. I hope that at the very least, the semifinals are Friday night and not Saturday morning.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one who saw this, but look how skewed pool A is in D2 compared to pool D. When looking at the national rankings (not the new ones for nationals, which are so off I'm not even going to get into that, but the one right after regionals), pool A has the #7, #9, and 2 unranked teams. Pool D on the otherhand has the #3, #5, #8, and 1 unranked team. Any comments on this?

Personally, i thought those pools were pretty balanced. But i can see what your saying. However, your looking at national rankings that have nothing to do with the NCRHA, the people who made the pools shouldnt be looking at those rankings in order to make the pools. They have to rank the teams how they see them and they try to make a balanced pools.
You have to look at the limits they had. They have 7 ECRHA, 5 Great Plains, 5 WCRHL teams, so each pool needed one of those teams. How they decided from there is beyond me.

I'd love to know at least something about the process behind pools and scheduling in general. What are the criteria for pools? What's the reasoning behind the absurd 10 am DII championship game?
Please dont tell me they are seriously holding national championship games at Omni?
How did you find this out?

No, they're not holding championship games at Omni....that part of my post was just hypothetical.

What if the semis are at 6 AM?
I hope not.
It would be great if the DI and DII semis are Friday night.
