*Midwest auto-bid and another East might eliminate these 2. Haven't much frame of reference on them, except SHSU's performance last year at nationals. However, SHSU and ULL appear to be much more competitive relative to UTD this year...
PLEASE LOOK AT STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE before posting your own predictions or responses... thanks!

I think in the Southeast, Emory and Elon have to play each other in the round robin, so you could see one of these teams faltering then struggling on sunday as they will have to play 3 game before noon to win it all. Also, this gives miami a good chance to be a top 2 seed in the tournament if they take care of business against western carolina.

The obvious choice in the west is Long Beach, and I'm almost positive they'll get it done.
I think three of the final four teams are locks, as Long Beach will come in first in Pool A, and Cal Poly Pomona and USD shouldn't have much of a problem with UC Riverside or CSU Fullerton in Pool B.
The upset of the weekend could be in Pool A, for that last final four spot. UC San Diego and Nevada are both in position to take it- Nevada has been more consistent this year, but UCSD has turned it up as of late- including defeating Nevada 8-7 three weeks ago... should make for an interesting round robin.

Missouri state (strong Gp regionals get them in)
Elon ( strong reg season despite late season losses to millersville and emory )
Shippensburg ( strength of schedule is high key win vs drexel and tie vs neumann
Sam houston ( strong record gets them in after 2 close ones vs ut dallas in the finals
First alternate
U san diego 1-5-1 record vs nevada, cal poly, uc san deigo, and long beach hurts
Second Alternate
St louis - tough loss to missouri state might keep them out
Third alternate
Maine snowed in....always a top 8 team at nationals good regular season record but 1-6 record vs top 6 in the ecrha and just being to far back on the ecrha rankings(#8) to get in
