Has everyone seen the new Buffalo Sabres Uniforms? I think they're a big improvement over the old ones. The throwback look is nice and I like the numbers on the front.. Anyone else seen them? :cool:

A cool note on them: a local buffalo designer was upset when the team did away with the old blue/gold ones he offered his services to the team for free and created a whole series of sample uniforms for them (this was in the past 3 years) and then he made a public website to show the team that the city would support going back to old look. They made a good choice too.

I'm not even a sabres fan but the new look is great

While i like the return to blue and gold and the numbers on the front look pretty cool, i personally cant stand the new logo. They should have simply went back to the old buffalo and two crossed sabers logo.

I think they could have just gone back to the old classic logo. It would have worked with the new jerseys too.

I feel like I see that logo on the new jerseys just about everywhere. Every highschool football team called the Rams or Bulls or anything . .just looks very cliche . .. other than that it's a pretty sick jersey im a fan of the blue and gold again

The guy who designed the jersey had this one as his top pick. You can see the team elected to go with a different logo. I like this one because it used the vintage logo.

I think the mock up in that picture is 10 times better then the ones they decided to go with. the classic logo is just that, a classic which can stand the test of time. the new one will be dated 5 years from now and they change logos again.
