anyone know how to get a stripped bolt out of a skate? i have code 1 skates and the bolt is totally stripped.
drill it out with a small bit...very carefully. that's the only way i know of. make sure your allen key is the whole way in while loosening or tightening or they will strip.

they make bits to remove damaged screws craftsman makes them they are called damaged screw removers.they go in your drill gun just like a drill bit but you put the gun in reverse and go slow it will grab the srtipped screw and turn itself out, try them they are good to have on hand.

that sounds simple...however if you cannot grip the countersunk screw or hex tool hole, then you can drill and use what is called an "easy out"...you can find at most hardware stores that sell mechanics tools

Yep, you bet. Aluminum axles have deep holes so there will be enough material around the hex. If you don't have the hex all the way in and twist it hard, it digs a rut in the hole so the hex won't go in all the way. Ends up stripping the Hex hole.
