Hope this is the right place to post.
Singapore may seem far away to some, but it's summer all year, the variety of food and cultural experiences are vast and Inline Hockey is now taking off!
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Inline Hockey Coach who has a flair for developing Teams especially working with kids from basic skating then able to train them up into Hockey players. The ideal person we are looking for would be 25-40 years old, have experience Coaching/Managing Teams, and would be able to help develop Hockey in Singapore. An initial period of 1-2 months could be negociated with our plan to have the right person relocate here for an agreed contract period.
Background in Brief
We started here two years ago and worked with a die hard group of players and now have just completed the Inaugraul National Inline Hockey League season 2001 with 12 adult Teams (one girls).
Jeff Burns worked with us this year and he said that the a few of the players and Teams could confidently compete against the best Teams in the Oceania Cup, we are planning to go to Nelson in 2002, (Jeff is Canadian, he lives in NZ and Coaches various Teams including the NZ National Team). We also have several expat players here within the Teams who have commented positively on the skill and dedication of these local guys. Maybe the Singaporean players/Teams are no where near the calibre of the Narch or the Global Hockey Fest players, but these guys have talent.
If you have the time, experience and passion to get more people into Hockey and would like to make a great income, email me
Regards
