And let me say, special thanks to anyone who had a hand in helping me out with the Philadelphia/New Jersey/well, whatever the heck our name is....Frankly, after driving to Virginia last weekend, and to North Jersey this past weekend, I am ready to throw in the towel....You just can't expect to beat a full squad of NY Rockers, regardless if they have their best lineup out there or not...I do want to thank the guys from NJ, who gave their best shot at them...Thanks to John Geary, and Curt Sidano, and especially Josh Burke for stepping in net for the team. Maybe it is just me rambling on a monday night, but I am frustrated person right now with the MLRH. And get this, I am supposed to travel to Hartford to play them on Saturday? As of right now, I am really likely to do that....And the colts really beat the Steelers yesterday.

Hey J,
If I had the answer to that one, I would tell you....You would think it would be pretty easy to find guys willing to play for free and just pay for travel expenses in order to play decent house league hockey. There are a number of guys I would like to go after on the board, but just would like to say I have learned to bite my tongue since i signed up on the site in 2002. I did enjoy almost getting a hat trick against NY, except for the fact I slipped on the rink during my breakaway. I do appreciate Neil and his kindness toward lending us the away jerseys lol....

Dave, Now you understand how I feel about the league, I love to play and love the game but hate the bull that goes along with running a team.
Yokes, No problem you guys are going to make my life easy.

Im fat, bald, and slow.

The jersey situation was pretty hilarious and so is the league. I really thought that the league might get back on track this season now that the XIHL folded, but I was dead wrong. Dave, I believe your team was short this weekend because some guys already jumped ship and are playing PIHA. At this point, it doesn't sound like a bad idea. Back to the jersey thing. There were some families that stayed at the rink after there sons' were done with baseball practice, i wonder if they thought that game was a real game or a Rockers practice/scrimmage.
