Hey Folks,

If anyone has any spare cash, it might be a great idea to send some to the Red Cross for their upcoming work in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. Times are going to be tough down there for a long time to come.

I traveled to New Orleans a couple of times when I was working for Triathlete magazine, and it was a fun city. I have friends who have family members living in New Orleans who tried to ride out the storm; no word has come back yet as to their safety.

Sincerely,

Rich,

I will be donating $250 for every entry into the World Amateur Inline Hockey Series Championships and $50 for every team that enters Disney's Ultimate Inline Hockey Experience.

Sincerely,

Roy Edmondson

Hey Roy,

That's incredible! And very generous. I hope you start up a great giving trend by other inline hockey companies as well.

Thanks, Roy! I know that the people of the Gulf Coast will appreciate every bit of help from every possible source.

Sincerely,

Hi Folks,

One of my friends in Louisiana lives in Abita Springs, about 35 miles north of New Orleans. Apparently, he and his wife and two children got out of town and went to Pensacola, Florida, to ride out the storm. He went back to Abita Springs to check on things, and found that a tree crashed onto the roof of his house. Fortunately, he and his family are safe, but thousands of others in the Gulf Coast area are still in dire straits.

I'd like to ask again that IHC readers donate whatever they can to the Red Cross or the Salvation Army to help our friends in the Gulf Coast.

Sincerely,

Richard Graham
