Nice photos, thanks for getting them up. Any shots of the rink and setup to see how the building looks? Great caption on the JP Beilsten shot, Zebra looks a little out of his element. Nothing says "amateurish" more than having refs that at least don't look professional. That was a nice thing to honor Mr Murphy, hope he's doing ok. Are the teams actually owned by someone and is it just for prize money or is there a small paycheck?

Photographers keep sending me shots, so I'll continue to put them on site. If a photo tells a thousand words, I'm helping to write a novel... /wtimages/icons/wink.gif

I'll see if I can get some rink and building shots. The building is very cool -- you can actually see a rendition of it in the IHA logo.

Well, that may have been one moment when that ref was stationary, but the referees appear to be doing a pretty good job, from what I've seen.

I was thrilled to be a part of the award presentation. Dennis Murphy is a great person in addition to being a sports pioneer. Being around him and talking to him makes you feel like you're reliving great moments in sports, because he's always telling stories about the WHA, the ABA and the RHI. I'm proud to know him, and honored to be considered one of his many, many friends.

Originally, Jeff Buma owned the entire league. My understanding is that the teams are now owned by other individuals, with Chipper Righter owning the Bullfrogs. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. It is also my understanding that the players are paid a certain amount per game.
