Hi Folks,

I know someone who's looking at a job possibility in New York City, which pays "in the low 50s." Is that a reasonable salary, considering rents in Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs?

Depends on their experience and the industry. This is reasonable and this is probably a higher end entry level position to someone with a string degree.
