Not to rain on this guys parade, but that appeared to be a penalty shot and should not have even counted. When he spun it around his back, he stopped the forward motion of the puck and thus should not count. I have seen several youngsters do that same thing with an inline puck, but doing that in a game situation on the ice is quite amazing.

yeah ive seen both of those before a good amount of times

but i honestly never knew that michigan goal was from 1996 until i saw that version of it

I have seen the Michigan goal so many times I have it memorized. That was one of those things that only works once. It is funny watching everyone trying to do it. I have tried in pregame warmups just for kicks and can not do it.
