Did Heaton break away from CCM. I do not see any more Heaton equipment on the CCM website. I saw some Heaton Roller pades on Goaliemonkey and I was wondering what happened because HEaton was my favorite brand of goalie equipment.

From what I have heard Reebok (as you probably know Reebok is the company that now owns CCM, JOFA, and KOHO) is going a different direction with their goalie line. The company is going to let CCM keep developing their flat face designs and while the KOHO Pro designs while still being produced, any new devolopments from that series are being implemented into the new Reebok pad (if you go to the links I put at the bottom of the post you can see them for yourself). On some goalie message board people have asked Reebok Reps about the Heaton series of pads, and their designer Brian Heaton is still working with the company. But I would check into the Reebok pads they can already be custom preorderd at some places and their looking pretty sweet.

Thanks for the info. I do not like the flat design pads. I like the old style better. Thanks for the links those pads do look pretty nice.
