Yes. I have them as the 2nd best glove out there. Behind the Bauer XV.

Better than Eagles???...my son through different team affiliations ended up with all three, M-1 Pro's 2004, Bauer XV's, and Eagle X-70's..and I still think the Eagles were the easiest to get used to right away for him, followed closely by the Bauers, and then the Missions...not to say that the others are not good gloves.

It is really so subjective that the debate could go on for months. For him the Eagles were comfortable and allowed him his "hands" immediately, the Bauers took two usages before he was comfortable, and he used the Missions for 4 games and still is not comfortable with them.....but like I said..depends what you like and what "feel" you are looking for.

Well, My little ref job can't pay for Eagles ($170?). I haven't gotten a chance to use the Mission gloves yet, but they came. I like them!! They are very comfy.

The 2004 M-1 Pros carry a list price of $179.00 although the 2003's are available for $100.00

They may list for $179.00 (2004 M-1 pros) but I challenge you to find anyone that charges that for them. They retail at $99.00.

Eagles are made well, but I don't know if they're $170 "made well". Don't get me wrong I love all of the eagles I have but if you're on a budget the M-1 is a heck of alot better glove for the price... purely from an economic standpoint.

I realize your son doesn't like the way the m-1s fit him, but many others love them. It's all PP.

I agree....but for those that like the looseness of the Eagles..they will probably not be happy with the Missions..not everyone likes that feel however.

On a side note, eagle's new fusion line are more slim fitting. They're nice gloves for those that like a more snug fit. I've tried a pair, I'm not sure if I really like the fit, it just doesn't feel like a pair of eagles...

I got mine (2003) for $69.00. They are M-1, not M-1 Pro.

It does all come down to personal preference. I have a pair of x-80s and was never really comfortable in them. Got a pair of nylon 04 m-1 pros through corebeam and haven't used the eagles since. I think it's probably the split fingers that make them work for me but I'm still not sure.
