I wish people would stop saying "Ice Hockey Sucks!!"....Yes, inline hockey Kicks Major A ss and is fun as hel l, but that doesn't mean ice hockey has to suck...remember--if it weren't for ice hockey, we wouldn't have inline hockey....just thought i'd vent...

Most of the people I've heard say that say ice sucks usually suck on the ice. go figure

I wish I knew if it did or not. As a resident of Arizona, ice is hard to come by. But how could it suck, hockey originated on ice and that is where the best in the world play. Plus you can be more physical.

Guys no version of HOCKEY SUCKS, Ice and Roller are grand sports played and enjoyed by all. Posts by either side condemming either version of hockey only hurts the growth of both games. Every roller player believes Ice guys look down there noses at our 4 on 4 game with no lines to promote more scoring and wide open play. And many Ice guys think we can't play because of the lack of physical contact. I can say that both games are for tough athletes only. And I also know many Ice guys that have improved from playing roller for extra rink time and skill development. I also have seen many a Roller player benifit when playing ice. So all need to come together and make all hockey grander than ever. One day there maybe a version of checking in roller and even the NHL is tinkering with 4 on 4. All Hockey is good if not great and both can be better if we help our sport grow.
