Hi Folks,

Here's the April edition of INLINE - ONLINE, the official e-mail newsletter of USA Hockey InLine

1. 2004 USA Hockey InLine National Team Open-Tryout Camp
The 2004 USA Hockey InLine National Team Open-Tryout Camp will take place at Soc n' Roll Indoor Sports Arena in Monument, Colo., from April 30-May 2. Team USA will compete at the 2004 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World InLine Championship, to be held July 10-18 in Bad Tolz, Germany. The IIHF World InLine Championship is the most competitive event in inline hockey. Players attending the Open-Tryout Camp will be vying for two spots to the Main Camp, to be held in early July. 2. 2004 Collegiate Roller Hockey National Championship
Fifty-two college club inline hockey teams converged on the Anaheim Hockey Club April 14-18, in Anaheim, Calif., for the 2004 Collegiate Roller Hockey National Championship. Teams competed in DI, DII, DIII and a B Division for a chance to be crowned National Champion. Teams from all over the country were selected by the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA) to represent their college at this prestigious event.

The NCHRA was formed to help standardize and promote inline hockey at the collegiate level. As a partner of USA Hockey InLine, the NCHRA works with colleges and universities in an effort to allow inline hockey players the chance to play for their school. With the help of the NCRHA, USA Hockey InLine is able to provide playing opportunities for the 8-and-Under player through the collegiate level and onto the international level.

USA Hockey InLine Age-Specific Drill Book -- 14/17-And-Under
Divide the players into two lines, one at the center line and one on the hash marks by the opposite face off circles. Player one starts the drill by skating around the pylon and then receives a pass from player two. Player one then skates full out to the far pylon and goes in and shoots. Player two back checks full out and tries to take the angle away from the shooter. Change lines.
