Supposedly this season.

I hope you guys are reading this - PUT A TEAM IN LAS VEGAS!!! lol

I'm moving out there in August, and I think I may go crazy not playing in MLRH this year.... :-(

talk of the town is a nice expansion to the Midwest and I think even the West Coast.

Is there any established teams in the West Coast that are ready to make a move to the MLRH?

I know there were some teams in Arizona, Colorado, Stockton, CA, and other areas of California. Don't know if they're interested in coming back but it looks like the league wants to have everyone be able to play each other.

There are some good teams out there, just too far from each other to compete like the PA/NJ corridor does. A few in CA, AZ and CO aren't really driveable situations to play each other like the East does (not that Boston and Hartford have it real easy either). Hope they can be part of it again.

Going back to the two on hiatus from the east, what about the Voltage and Warriors? Any news on if they are coming back also?

Just because I liked the WISC in Williamsburg, I'd like to see the Warriors come back. Hope the WISC owner wises up.

The Voltage has a rink problem. No real good facility in the DC area. There are a couple near Dulles airport. One is too small (where the Virginia Storm played) and the other is either too big or not the right shape (from what I've heard). Frederick, Md might be possible, but can't remember the deal behind that one and the rink in Fredericksburg is down I-95. Those two teams are really only convenient for each other but would allow teams to come down and play one on Saturday and the other on Sunday.

I'm hoping the guys I've talked to in Raleigh get their act together, they have rinks there. Richmond could be a good spot for another.

There is a new rink near Richmond but haven't heard much from the owner. I also miss the Voltage/Warrior games. And the Fredericksburg team wasn't bad either. The Voltage/Destroyer games were always entertaining. We could place bets on who was first to the penalty box for both teams. All this talent and no spectator-money making- friendly place to play.

Well you know, Las Vegas is the fastest growing city in the country, and probably the second or third in the world. Hell, my family is going out there, but that's besides the point.
