Wish I could make a poll, but whatever.
What's the best puck out there in your opinion. I mean it started with the JOFA puck and we have had Franklin, Mission, Mach 1, IDS, Bauer Rocket Puck and I am sure I am missing some. Personally I liked the Mission, but I am really starting to like the Bauer Rocket Puck. League I am playing on now uses a white IDS puck on a wood floor and I think it slows the game down immensly. Also, what's your color of choice of puck on blue sport court floor?

Best puck on sport court = IDS puck.
btw, ANY puck is slow as hell on a wood floor.... wood is not meant for pucks.
The Shock Puck was pretty good too, I wish I didnt break mine.. liked it quite a bit....

as league admin...
The Mach 1 was the best puck we ever tried...except that they didn't last worth beans...since they are thermoplastic, they actually shattered in contact with the building walls on cold days...
The IDS pro shot black is our choice, but we did like the shock puck. The black color is a big factor...we have several players with varying degrees of color blindness...
If IDS could use the material that the old Mach 1's used for the glide pins, then that would be a good puck.
If the new, red Mach pucks could change to a smaller glide pin surface, that puck would be pretty good, especially cause it weighs a lot more than the IDS or others.
Really would like to see a 4.5 ounce puck with glide pins that lasted beyond the 20-24 hours of the IDS Pro Shot...

ugh, I hate Mach1 pucks. Rocket pucks too.
I really like that shock puck though....... good and heavy. IDS needs to add a little more weight and improve their durability.....

Shock Puck was a good concept and worked really good, until they broke.
All of the ones that I used broke..
Good idea, bad design.
Rocket pucks...great for training..develops wonderfull hand/eye coordination and reflexes.....

I like the IDS puck. IT sits the flatest out of all the pucks I have used. I also like the Rocket but they do not last that long. The IDS lasts the longest out of any puck I have used. I like either a red colored or black colored puck.

I have skated for a while and all of the sport court/ice court I play on used black IDS. There was one place that used rocket pucks....and we stoped going to that place. I agree with WRX, but I have never heard of the shock puck? wood is real slow...sport court is just slow...and ice court is as close to ice as I have played. Spider court anyone?

On the spider court we used the Rocket puck and it sat nicely and was never a durability problem. It was NOT a slow puck. We also used a few Mission's as they were my own pucks we used for warmups. Definitely a solid feel.

I do not like the mission pucks. They seem very soft? I like IDS...

Yeah, I will test mine out on monday night. Was already playing with in the house. I couldn't flip it and I was pissed, but then I realized that is the idea. Thumbs up.

Well I used the shock puck the other night in warmups. Seemed to play well on the floor. Only problem is on slapshots it rode way to high. Shot 3 over the glass height from the top of the slot on shots that at most with the IDS would have been labeled for the goalies head(he was glad). Maybe it was the wood floor. I don't know. Would still like to try it on the sportcourt though cause of how well it stayed flat.
thanks again.
