PIHA Tryout Question

Now say I want to tryout and I go to Nike's tryout, am I still eligable to tryout for another team? I have a few friends here in DE that want to play but if they dont make one or feel they wont, want to know if it is possible to try for another before they hear a answer from the first.

Its just not fun unless you stand in front of it!

You can tryout anywhere for any team. As long as you put up a check or cash, you can come out to every team in the area. If you are chosen, you can either sign with that team ( makes the most sense) or wait for other teams to respond to you. Hey Yokes, where you going to be on Jan 10? Talk to af...

I would say sure....the door swings both ways. If the team can tell you they don't want you, then you have the same rights.

Yokes has talked to AF... allow me to give back up what has already been said on this topic. Obviously there are ethics involved with this situation. Just be up front if you get the call that you have made a team. Your not officially on any roster until your league contract is sent to the league office and then subsequently added to that teams roster in the league database. I encourage everyone to test the waters of tryouts. Several players last yr that made our minor league team were encouraged to tryout for other squads if they or we felt they could play at that level, but we were out of top level positions.
