Anaheim Ducks left wing Patrick Maroon, who played inline hockey growing up, scored his first NHL goal last night against the Nashville Predators. His goal tied the game 2-2 at 16:08 of the second period, and the Ducks went on to win the game in a shootout. Maroon, a 24-year-old picked in the 2007 draft, played for the United States men's national inline hockey team in 2010 and was a member of the Mission Snipers and Mission Pro division teams at the North American Roller Hockey Championships. Congratulations, Patrick!
