The Dalton Inline Hockey League wrapped up its 2012-13 season with a pair of games Tuesday at The Zone Skate Center in Dalton.
In elementary/middle school division competition, Luke Cochran scored in sudden death overtime to lead the Fire Blazers to an 8-7 win against the Speeding Bullets.
Cochran scored all but one of his team’s goals in the game, which finished regulation tied at 7. Jamesen Shook added a goal and an assist for the Fire Blazers, while Aden Scibilia recorded a pair of saves in goal.
For the Speeding Bullets, Erica Tallent led the way with five goals, while James Braud added two goals and Matthew Issac made 18 saves.
In high school/college division competition, every member of the Silver Bullets — with the exception of their goalie — recorded a point as they beat the Trail Blazers 7-5.
Jonathan Cochran topped the list with three goals and an assist. Hannah Gonthier added a goal and two assists, Taylor Harper had one goal and one assist, Justin Hawkins and Chris Scibilia each scored one goal and David Tallent chipped in two assists. In goal, Jonathan Davis recorded 21 saves.
For the Trail Blazers, Jason Cochran had two goals and one assist, while Abigail Cochran, Michael Koop and Stephanie Koop each notched a goal and Nathan Gonthier had an assist. Alexis Tallent made nine saves.
