Christian Alejandro Campos Regalado is a roller hockey coach in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, and he coaches players of all ages.
Christian is trying to grow the sport in his area, but says that “it is not easy; it is practically impossible to achieve, and the government does not provide support for athletes.”
Christian says that he has the space to install any inline hockey tiles that can be donated, and that he’ll pay for the portion that the children play on. However, the two rinks that are accessible are “deplorable, concrete without lights.”
On the bright side, Christian says, “Still, my club has been several times national champion in all categories including feminine.”
While Christian has tried to find sponsors in Mexico, only futbol (soccer) is funded by the powers that be, “and hockey is for them no matter.”
“I hope you can help me do it for the children,” Campos said. “I would like to have more development and promote our sport.”
If anyone has any Ice Court, Sport Court, Spider Court or any other type of plastic flooring that can be donated, Christian Campos and the players he supports in Mexico will forever say, “Muchas gracias, amigos!”
