From the Blue Ox web site (www.minnblueox.com)

The Minnesota Blue Ox was shocked last year mid-season to learn that the RHI was not capitalized as represented. Like the other Promotional Rights Owners, Blue Ox Roller Hockey M.G.P., Inc. had to shoulder unscheduled obligations that were rightfully the contractual responsibility of the RHI, just to finish the season. This adversely effected the ability of the Blue Ox to pay its own obligations. Slowly, this part of the problem is being rectified.

It is the intent of the Blue Ox to pay its bills, remain in good standing as a corporate entity and keep an eye on the market for professional in-line hockey in general. Meanwhile, the Blue Ox is preparing to sue the RHI. Legal action was not initiated sooner because it was represented that matters were going to be satisfactorily resolved, but this has not happened.

It's a sad day for Babe, but the fat lady has not sung. Keep your stick on the ice and thank you for your support.
