SHOCK PUCK NAMED OFFICIAL PUCK OF INLINE HOCKEY AMERICA
All IHA Leagues and Events to Use Puck
Inline Hockey America, a full-service roller hockey consulting, promotions, marketing, and development organization based in Buffalo, New York, has named the Shock Puck as their official puck. All IHA Events and all leagues operating under the IHA banner will use the new puck. IHA will also become a distributor of the Shock Puck.
The Shock Puck, a Shock Hockey product manufactured exclusively by Robot located in Huntington Beach, California, was recently introduced at the Let?s Play Hockey Show, North America?s largest hockey-related trade show held annually in Las Vegas. The newest puck on the market has been engineered to compensate for some of the problems serious roller hockey players have experienced with many of the pucks currently in use. It is the only puck to have floating guide pins, which move up and down to absorb vibration allowing the puck to flatten out faster and coupled with 45 degree tapered slots, provides extensive anti-flip relief. It?s PVC body with built-in shock pin system and overall higher shot velocity design increases the speed of the puck, which increases the speed of the game. It features other design aspects made to improve a player?s stickhandling abilities as well his or her shooting and passing accuracy.
Inline Hockey America, the new roller hockey nation, was created to provide opportunities for players and to help the sport grow and develop. In an effort to accomplish this, IHA will create and operate roller hockey leagues at several levels, including Elite, Junior, Collegiate and Scholastic, all initially based in the Great Lakes area. IHA will also become a promoter of events such as camps, clinics and tournaments, either already existing tournaments or newly created ones geared toward a specific roller hockey demographic. IHA will also act as a consultant to existing rinks and leagues and will help them find ways to provide more opportunities for their players and to help them maximize their ability to generate revenue. Part of that strategy includes finding and promoting the best products and services currently available. The Shock Puck has been identified as one of those products.
In addition to being used by the roller hockey nation, the Shock Puck can also be purchased through IHA. Shock Pucks can be purchased through the IHA web site at www.inlinehockeyamerica.com. Discount pricing is available for all citizens of the Inline Hockey America including teams, rinks, leagues and players who are members of the Inline Hockey America Player?s Association. For more information on the Shock Puck or Inline Hockey America, call (716) 741-1276 or (716) 491-2656. You can also e-mail IHA at [email protected]
