can anyone tell me about this skate? I'm thinking about getting a pair for my son. What is the outsole made of?

If they're like the Stubbies, and I think they are, then the outer soles are hard plastic, the same stuff that the toe caps on most inline skates are made of. The Big Daddies are of the same component set. So far, after about 150 hours of game play/reffing/on-the-floor coaching sessions, the Stubbies are holding up excellent. The only modification I have made is a pair of Dr. Scholl's gel foot beds...
