As an inline rink owner I'd like to know what puck players like best and why. We've tried a number of different pucks and still haven't found one we're happy with. We keep our building at 55 degrees (we're in Michigan) during the winter and we see the plastic pucks (IDS, etc.) get very "bouncy" when the temp is that low.

My favorite is the IDS puck. I feel that it stays flat better than any other puck out there. Although it is more compact and smaller than other pucks (and less like an ice hockey puck) I feel it is the best to use on a tile surface such as sport court, flight deck or ice court.

Like most everyone else, we used the IDS puck. Notice I said used to use. WHY?? Cause by mistake I had ordered the wrong pucks. SO...I got the Millemium Pro Pucks.. Glad that I made the mistake because these pucks are more to our liking. They do not roll or flip up as much as the IDS pucks. They are heavier and feel better on your stick, and make passing easier. When you tee one up, it sounds great, feels great, and flies more truer than the IDS. We found the IDS, after using the millemium, would fly with a curve to it, and really did bounce, roll and flip more often. But, either puck is good. We will just use the MILLENIUM PRO PUCK for good though. We play on a polished concrete with urethane over it, so it is relatively smooth. I do notice that at EPUCK they advertise it as an outdoor puck, why I have no idea. It slides just as fast if not faster than the IDS. SO...try it.. We def. love it. ..just my 2cents. laters, j-bo

We've tried the ProPuck and liked everything about it excecpt that it's slow. We play on an IceCourt surface. We are currently using the IDS puck but it bounces so much when it gets cold. Also, it's a pretty light puck. Doesn't anyone make a real rubber puck (like an ice puck) that has the speed of the IDS puck?
