If i get a petetion sighned by roller hockey players will that helpin getting a city run rink. there are a bunch of guys who I play with who would like to see a 2nd facility here in Las Vegas. I would like some feedback so I can get the process started.

We have a rink at my park, but with little help from the city. It was a hard process for my coach even to get the city to let him take an old tennis court area and turn it into a rink. He paid for it mostly by himself and fundraising events through our teams. Plus we had to build it, luckily he was pretty good in that area. The city wouldnt even allow us to install lights by the rink so we can play during the winter when it gets light at 6. Maybe a petition will help you guys, but if you already have a rink they might be less likely to help you out, like they were with us. For us it was defiently worth it, but who knows maybe my city is ran by jerks. lol
