Ah, the ever misleading "hit." /wtimages/icons/wink.gif

Visits/page views are definitely a much better guage of web traffic. My site's pretty graphic intensive (when it's up, that is. /wtimages/icons/wink.gif), so I get a rather large number of hits as well.
