Just curious, but have any of you broken a shaft or stick on purpose cause u didn't like the flex or the curve? Just to get the warranty to replace it?

would suggest that be asked privately rather than on a public message board - wouldn't want to ruin the warranties for everyone.

I've never broken one for a warranty ;) but when I was 11 and I had this old wooden stick and everyone else had and aulminum shaft I broke my stick so I could get an aluminum one.

I have only broken one to get a new stick and because i was pissed off one game. I would have prefered t o break it over the refs head, instead over the boards.

As a parent who paid for all those sticks I hope you have three kids who all play hockey :))

My brother picked up a Synergy that he didn't like, and wanted to break it to turn it in on the warranty... luckily (?) the blade broke after 2 games and he was able to get a new one anyway. Has anyone tried the new Bauer one piece sticks?
