Hi Folks,

On Monday night I had an inline hockey game at 10:30 p.m.

On Tuesday night (which ended about an hour ago), I participated in an ice hockey scrimmage from about 8:20 p.m. to 9:20 p.m.

On both nights, I was so wired afterwards that I knew I couldn't sleep for quite some time, despite the fact that I knew I had to be at work at 8 a.m. the next day.

Does anyone else have this problem, and if so, what is your solution?

Sincerely,

Richard Graham

I HATE THAT!!!

Last night's game got me in at midnight, had to be up at 6, still couldnt force myself to fall asleep until 2am...

I've done a couple things which help, but not if the game was particularly exciting or physical :)...

(1) Eat alot of food before you get a shower...
(2) Get the hottest shower you can possibly stand...

Hope that helps... but I'm dragging *** pretty bad today...

Sorry Rich cant help ya there, I generally sleep about 2-3 hours once every 3-4 days.. you can always start a fight club and become an insomniac...that way you dont have to worry about waking up in time for work, you're already up...lol

last notice I got from one Richard Graham was in the "couldn't resist" category, so now it's my turn, eh?

Hey, Rich:

Ya could get a job like mine, where I don't have to be into work (the rink) til 2:00 p.m. or so...and then I get to coach, ref and play inline hockey, for a living...

nya, nya, nya, nya, nya.../wtimages/icons/tongue.gif (I got your "is" right here, pal)

Hey,
Ya, I can never sleep either. Being the dirty player I am at hockey, I was added on another team's hitlist again...hehe, I had some full grown adults going all crazy because an 18 teenager punk got on their nerves. I'm always still cranked after a game. But when it really comes down to it... I just take out my books and try to do homework. That really puts me to sleep.

Rich,
Depending on how far you live from the rink you might want to pop a Tylenol PM as soon as you get off the rink. The tend to start working in about 1/2 an hour and will put you right out. Plus if you commonly have any aches or pains the morning after they wont be there anymore.

Good luck
