What's up. I recently made the switch from some Mission Vi skates (5.3 stiff) to the Wicked Lights (7.5 stiff), because after a few months I ended up wanting to tighten my skates 3 or 4 times every practice/game. (I'm not normal in this regard, I like my skates disgustingly-tight, and any looseness at all is not acceptable)
Now my question is about break in, is there any way to break in really stiff skates without baking them? (I don't have access to shop with the skate-baker, and am really wary of tossing new skates in my kitchen oven) If I tie them tightly and just wear them when I'm relaxing at home, would that help?
Also, any Wicked Light users here, are there any praises or faults I should expect?

yes, by wearing them around in different environments than just hockey, you allow the skate to mold around your foot in many different positions, not just when you are skating. This will allow the skate to fit more naturally and feel better when you are skating.
