College Roller Hockey

Hi, my name is Roman and I am due to graduate in the fall of 2002. I would like to go on to college or university. If u guys could help me out that would be great!!!!! I would like to play college roller hockey, can u guys let me know what teams are good, what teams look good for the future? I am down here is Canada and I dont know much about states college roller hockey. If there are any teams down here in Canada colleges can u let me know 2!!! Thanks for ur time and help and I must say I love comming here and reading everyones opinions and views of things. This is a great site!!!!!!!!!!!

There are a lot of schools in the country that have great roller hockey teams. But, my advice is, since there are no true scholarships available for roller hockey and because roller hockey is only a "club" sport, focus on getting into a college or university on your scholastic merit and then if the school happens to have a roller hockey team, join it. Although you may also want to factor the team into your decision, don't make it a priority. Like many people in the past have done, you can even start up your own team at a school without one to start, it can be very rewarding.
