I'm considering buying a pair of EastonVent Air F5's since they're on sale right now at several places. I'm somewhat of a novice and want to know if anybody has used them and what you think of them. Also, I've seen that the sizing says subtract 1.5 sizes from your shoe size.. is this correct? Just want to make sure before I buy them.
Thanks

Despite RG's rant, you will be very happy with the skates. The boot is very comfortable and they hold up well. You need to take a little more care to clean the magnesium chassis. You may also want to consider the F4's - they have an aluminum chassis that is just as durable and they seem to break in a little quicker due to the lining material. The sizing is a guide to use - from my experience that is correct, however, actual fit is everything. Check the return policy of the 'Net company you are buying from. Even 2 pairs of the same size (of any brand) can feel different.

Dear es2213,

Fair enough! :)

Why do I suddenly feel like Dennis Miller? :)
