How do you like your "stubbies?" Has anyone you know used the Duece model or the Road Hog model, if they have what have they said about them?

We got three pairs of Stubbies in action around here, and one pair of Big Daddies, none of the other models in the new Gear line yet...so far, everybody has only good things to say. I've only played about 10 hours on mine yet, in the two weeks I've had 'em. It took me a while to get used to the different foot lie angle, but now, it really increases my ankle flexion, and thus my balance is improved.
The only downsides so far are in comparison to my idiosynchratic former pair of Missions with a custom affixed Suregrip chassis. The axle bolts on the Stubbies are one piece, which screw into the frame holes without a nut. spent an hour looking for a bolt head before I realized there wasn't one. The old Suregrip axles never needed tightening, I need to check these every time...which I guess is normal, I had just gotten used to not having to worry about it.
All-in-all, the Stubbies have the five major features that I really want in a skate..so I am very happy...if further use makes the axle bolts strip out, then I will certainly be less happy...other components of a durability factor, of course, must wait for some time down the line...
While I cannot conceive of anybody who has spent $399 on a pair of skates being willing to admit that they made a mistake, I would certainly be willing to own up to the Stubbies being a $39 mistake, if i thought they were...so,
still waiting on the durability judgment, but I am very happy to date...and I still really just think the name "Stubbies" is cool...
