These are the best wheels on the market, you'll get on them once and become a believer, not only are they the best stopping and fastest wheel, but they also last 4 times longer then any other wheel on the market. and yes they are the most expensive wheel on the market, but ask yourself this question.... if you only have to buy a few sets of rink rat wheels a year compared to a bunch of our competitors are they really the most expensive wheel.
Wheels are on the market in 14 days, the countdown is on.
Rink Rat wheels will change the way the game is played, get on them or get out of the way. Mike

Thanks for the information. Where in south jersey can I get these wheels, or will it be better for me to go on-line

These are the BEST wheels I have ever skated on. They hardly wear down, they grip awesome, and the bearings fit perfectly in place. I would recommend these to anyone.

How long have you been using them? I am trying to get an idea of durabilty versus the dynastys that I have. Thanks

I used a test pour set of rink rat wheels and they lasted longer than two other major brand wheels out there. And I skate at least 3 times a week. Now I'm using retail pours since NARCh Winternationals and it seems I haven't even shaved anything off of them yet.

Thanks SpeedDemon, if the durabillty is that great, I'll make sure to get a set :)
i've been skating the same set since the torhs regional at marple in november. i have yet to see any cracking and that's without ever rotating them. i am a pretty heavy guy too! they last a long time.

It sounds like they will be worth the price, whatever that is, but I'd imagine high.

supposedly 12.50/wheel.......
thats 100 bucks a set, but if they last and perform...... it's worth it to me.

Uh, yeah, its called buying two pairs of nexed skates at that price on various websites. NO wheel will last that long under the diress of a sloppy or bad skater. No smack at you mr. mooers, but for that kind of money you might as well by four sets of shooters at modells. Do the math :).

haha.... yeah it's a little expensive, but considering i'm skating on Dynasties right now.... and they are wearing away incredibly fast... hell if the Rats last as long as they say they do..... HEY you calling me a sloppy skater? Thats it, the gloves are comin off!!! haha ;)

As I have always said, before anybody says anything about the wheels, get educated and try them. For you to say they wont last is absolutely false, they last 4 times longer for the pro athlete.. for a skater who is average at best, its probobly the only wheel you have to buy for a year...again get educated before you offer an opinion....Mike

I've spent a hell of a lot of money on dynasties that have lasted 3 months tops. I'm on my 2nd pair, and its about time to get some new wheels, so if I can find the cash I am going to give the rink rats a shot.

God forbid I have an opinion of your product. Nope, I haven't tested them out, but for over 100 bucks for a set, they better darn be near a pot of gold. Not everyone here is as rich as mr. riot, nor do they want to spend their gas money on wheels. By the way mr. rink rat, which guy were you this weekend in Feasterville? The one off or on the rink?

Michael,
An off topic question for ya, you wouldn't happen to be from the Boston, Ma. area.
Probably not, just curious.
Very interested in these wheels though, and would like to try them out.

I was Number 9, scored the 6th and 7th goal, ring a bell kid...and your not excused for giving an opinion, if you tried the wheels and had an opinion thats one thing, but you slammed them without trying them, as a matter a fact they are like gold. take care my friend...

Answer me this, if you only have to buy 2 pairs of Rink Rat wheels a year are Rink Rat wheels really the most expensive and 1 more thing they are not over 100.00 a set, msrp is 96.00 a set....take care guys

If I only had to spend $192 for two sets of rink rats for the whole year, they would defiently save me money. I spend that much without buying dynasties throughout the year. It wouldnt be a great amount, but if the wheel does really perform like you and the rest guys who have used them said, they will be worth it to me :)

Are you guys making that much money from your day jobs to be putting out that kind of money for wheels? The rink rat guy sure knows about them wheels because he certainly does not want any part of using his fists. If this is the same guy that I watched from the stands, he made a comment to one of the Sting players during an altercation he wanted no part of. Hmm, "do you have any kids" ring a bell son? Yeah, you won the game, can't say much there. But, for being as big as you are, and not answering the bell on more than one occasion, is comical to someone who is way below 6 ft. If anyone from MLRH reads this post, should know this, if you want to beat the storm, you better take it to them. These guys were ducking hits left and right ( even from a 6ft fellow in the red helmet). I think you should probably run into the goalie as well, because he yapped like there was no tomorrow. I am sure if the game was not as close, he would have gotten a nice shot to the head. Just an opinion from rusty....

#1, the wheels are worth the money. #2, Hockey SKILL is not about stepping up to the "bell". Sure a few hits were ducked, thats just because the hits were directed at the head (which is illegal) and not worth taking since we do have day jobs that allow us to make the money to buy such nice wheels. As you said, "you were in the stands", so keep cheering for your favorite team and watch the Storm as they climb the playoff ladder.

Ya kid we all ducked hits and hid in the corner.
Thanks for your input from behind the glass....

I talked to one of the reps from Labeda at Winternationals, and as soon as I mentioned the Rink Rat wheels, he got very defensive. I think they fear this is going to cut into their high-end wheel market... A ref I know has a pair that he wears for all our games, he said he's called about 40 games on them and they showed very minimal wear, they also have yet to be rotated. Last I heard they have yet to produce wheels for Mini-bearings. It seems to me this would be a prime market, since their wheels are geared towards the player who looks for performance, not price. I'm looking forward to buying a set... that is, as soon as they accomidate my mini-bearings.

I hope they make some outdoor ones though.

Mke, you just made my brother a very happy kid when he heard they will be rink rats for goalies :-)

I would perfer mini's too, since I have a brand new pair in no skates, I guess I'll have to save a little longer for some 608 bearings too.

02-20-2003, 06:01 PM
We have no plans for the micro bearing, we feel that micro bearings have run there course, we will use standerd 688zz bearings, thanks..mike
this is for now, we will see what happens in the future....mike

Is there some sort of major flaw with micro bearings? I've heard they burn our faster than 608 core bearings, but I really haven't noticed a significant difference.

Hi Mike,
Good luck with your new wheels. I appreciate your reply to my latest e-mail, and I hope that you will say hello to Mike Enright, Tony Szabo, and Gerry St. Cyr for me.
I also hope that you will follow through on your promise to support IHC with advertising dollars. So many companies have made that promise and not come through in the past that I'm a bit jaded. I am looking forward to having Rink Rat wheels restore a little of my faith in humanity.
Sincerely,
Richard Graham
